I have been busy lately, therefore haven’t have the time to update. Anyway the other day when I was training BJJ, I got submitted 3 times, I know I know, it’s only my 4th lesson. So after the 3 submission I when home to check out so BJJ vide and found this. I want to share the with you.

If you have been following this blog, you should have know that I’m a martial arts enthusiast. I’m currently training Muay Thai and 3 weeks ago, I started my BJJ training.

So what is BJJ? It’s a Martial Arts started in Japan and was brought to Brazil. It was then modify to it’s Brazilian form call Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Unlike Muay Thai, BJJ does not focus on striking. It’s concept is fighting on the ground, grappling and submitting your opponent. So all the time, the fight will end on the ground.

This form of Martial Arts is very new to me and it uses a total different muscle group hence my whole body felt like tearing apart.

Anyway the other day I have learn this move in my BJJ class.

The cost for BJJ training is actually quite cheap. It’s only S$20/lesson, and if you pay S$100/month, you get unlimited training. But the lesson is only conducted on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. It’s still a good deal if you plan to go all three days. Total 12 lesson a month and that’s only S$8.30/lesson.

Past 2 day, I have shown you some Muay Thai technique. So today I will show you something else.

Today’s technique is on Jiu Jitsu defense against Thai Clinch. These technique can only be use in a MMA fight and not a Muay Thai fight as it’s not Muay Thai technique therefore it’s will not be counted as a point.

Learn these technique hard and these can be very useful against Muay Thai MMA fighter.

So yesterday, I posted a wrestling technique and today I will post a Jiu Jitsu Technique. Below you will see a Scissor Sweep. Basically this technique helps you to adopt a dominance position from a guard position.
