Day 2 of Phuket Trip

Well, We woke up quite early today as we have a lot to do. The usual, we have our morning shake – no not protein, it’s a green mix super food. I really like the effect of the super food. It helps to repair me so fast that I felt enegertic all the time (more on super food some other time). After our breakfast, we head out to explore the island. We ride to Rawai Beach to have a look but it’s not really a chill out beach. It’s more like a boat park. Then we continue our exploration to Promthep Cape. The view was amazing. We can see Nai Harn beach (which we do not know how to go at that point of time).

After Promthep Cape, we went back to Karon beach for lunch. I had Basil Chicken with rice and Caroline had Paad Thai. After lunch, we head to Karon beach side bazaar for a little while, shop a little – you know how girl likes shopping. Caroline bought a pair of short and a few tops and we continue to the other part of Karon – Karon is very big, it stretch about 3 km long.

At the other part of Karon, it’s quite queit. One of the shop owner also said that it’s a low season for Phuket. Caroline went to this shop called “baru” and there she bought 3 other dresses. She left a happy customer. We then went to chilled at a cafe near the beach of Karon, we hang there for a while then we went to “Village Market” aka “Home Pro”. We bought ourselves some salad for dinner and also tomorrow’s breakfast as the training starts tomorrow.

After shopping for food, we went back to our room, put down our stuff and head to the front office to check out the timing of tonight’s fight at Bangla Boxing Stadium. A few of Rawai Muay Thai students are fighting tonight too. Colin from UK are also fighting tonight. The fight time is at 9.oopm but we garthered at the front office and waited for Tuk – the owner of Rawai Muay Thai to bring us there. Althought the ticket at the door is 1500 baht, we only pay 1000 baht. Special discount for Rawai Muay Thai students. Moreover, when we entered the stadium, the usher of the stadium lead us to the VIP area which cost 2000 baht. We got a very deal! The fight start sharp at 9.00pm and the first few bout are boys fight. Then follow by the teens fight. Most of the fight by Rawai Mauy Thai student won by points but Colin manage to get a KO for him fight. Congrats to him!

After the fight, it’s already very late. Tuk sent us back to our room and we quickly wash up and get ready to sleep. Worried that we couldn’t get up in time for our training, I set my alarm clock as there are no morning call services at Rawai Muay Thai . Anyway tomorrow is our first training, we will do our best!
